This meal was thrown together very quickly. There were only two of us eating, so I looked around to see what we had handy. There were no leftovers, but I saw a bag of Italian rolls sitting on the counter and I thought of making pizza out of them.
Often called "French Bread Pizza," but I couldn't call my creation that since I was using Italian Rolls. So that is why this post is called "Long Bread Pizza". This more correctly covers whatever type of long rolls/bread you have to work with.
I checked the fridge and found an open partially used jar of spaghetti sauce and bags of shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. Which meant I had everything I needed to make this work.
I used my toaster oven which is large enough to accommodate two rolls at a time, but you can use a regular oven too. A toaster oven just gets hot quicker than a full size.
